DOMINGA

These amazing pieces are created by Uruguayan designers, Mercedes Arocena and Lucia Benitez, who was recently awarded the "Dinamic Eco Chic Award" for this collection called "Dominga" at the Mittelmoda design contest in Italy. I love how they created intricate designs yet simple.

"The designers’ express, “Dominga comes as a result of an experimental investigation process that begins with the wool, a natural sustainable and warm fiber that is part of our history and culture”. Drawing inspiration from the Uruguayan rural backdrop, the collection reincarnates the traditional ‘Gaucho’ into iconic garments such as the ‘poncho’, the ‘ruana’ or the chiripa’."

ANTSY CUPS

I absolutely love these crockery pieces! They are hand painted by Evelyn Bracklows and all though some guests will screech and scream, I think they are awesome!

MISTER FINCH

Amazing Textile Sculptures by Mister Finch.
"Scraps of thread, fabric and paper are stitched and pulled into fairytale creatures looking for new owners and worlds to inhabit. They hide in the woods, behind masks, some have died along the way and are buried under spoon lockets. Finch works alone and makes everything himself by hand in a studio full of books, glass jars and naughty cats."

These pieces will be sold to raise money for the Fashion Art Foundation, it is also a way too connect relationships between the fashion, art and music industry.
